Kindred North Wedding // Logan + Amanda by April Walsh

Logan and Amanda are one of those couples that you meet and know right away that they’re perfect for each other. All day Amanda kept stopping everyone one and asking “Are you making memories?” A wedding day can go by so quickly and it was so important to them that everyone stop and be present. The decor for their big day was simple and beautiful and fun. Amanda even surprised Logan with a trick first look with her brother in a wedding dress to loosen the nerves! Take a peek at these beautiful souls and their palpable love for one another.

Matt Lane Farm Wedding // Brad + Allie's Snowy Vows by April Walsh

It’s odd to think about this freezing January wedding when it’s so steamy and sun outside my window right now. I can’t wait to share all of Brad and Allie’s snow filled big day. The energy was infectious all day and they had one of the sweetest first look’s I’ve ever had the pleasure to capture. As we were taking portraits, we kept pretending we were somewhere on a hot beach with our toes in the sand ha! Whatever we had to do to stay warm, we knew the photos would be worth it. Here are a few other vendor’s who helped make the day so wonderful:

Florals: Zuzu’s Petals

Wedding Gown: Low’s Bridal. Designer was L’amour.

The bride’s sister actually designed and made all my stationary, so that was super special to her.

Wedding Rings and Jewelry- Blakeman’s

The groomsmen got all of their suits from Dillard’s, but Brad’s suit was a custom made Italian suit from Hubbard’s.

Bridesmaid Dresses- Low’s Bridal and Formal

Videographer- 3R Productions

Catering- The Event Group

Wedding cake was made by Shelby Lynn’s Cake Shoppe. Brad has a dream about what it would look like and they turned that into a perfect reality. They had three different flavors and not a single slice was left at the end of the night.

Live Music- Something Blue.

Palm Springs Anniversary Session // Tony + Izzy // Palm Springs, California by April Walsh

I was going to be in Palm Springs this Spring and I knew I wanted to find another couple shoot while I was in town. Izzy and I connected as strangers across the internet and I just fell in love with her humor and her style. We decided to start at The Ace Hotel where Tony had first popped the question, and to a few of their favorite Palm Springs spots to celebrate their one year anniversary. Check out this perfect pair with that warm California sunshine and crazy wind.

Kindred Barn Wedding // Dawson + Kailey // Mulberry, Arkansas by April Walsh

Dawson first reached out to me to capture the moment he was proposing to Kailey. We hiked to the Yellow Rock Overlook at Devil’s Den and arrived just at sunset for the most magical lighting. For their engagements we ran around the tennis courts and pushed each other into the pool. When I arrived at Kindred Barn on the morning of their wedding, the clouds were just rolling in and made that amazing rain smell all in the air (am I the only one that loves that smell?) The rain stayed away all day though and the whole day flowed seamlessly. They both cried, I cried, everyone cried. I had a hard time saying good bye at the end of the night and hugged them both so tight.
