MEET APRIL

For the last 8 years, I’ve been photographing weddings all over Arkansas and beyond — big fancy weddings, backyard ceremonies, intimate elopements in the woods, and everything in between. At the center of all of it is connection.

My style blends documentary wedding photography with an editorial eye. I shoot both digital and film photography, which means your gallery ends up feeling intentional but still deeply human. Guided when you need to be, candid when it matters most.

Whether you’re planning a big wedding weekend in Northwest Arkansas, an intimate Arkansas elopement, or a destination wedding somewhere far from home, I’m here to help you create images that actually feel like you. I don’t just pose you to make you look cute and in love. I take the time getting to know you so I can give direction and get you interacting in a way that your own unique love for each other shines through. I believe my job as your photographer is to lead you to experience real emotions in the moment, and to walk away feeling connected to one another.

INCLUSIVITY

Social justice is so important to me in both my professional and personal lives, and I do my best to verify that this is true for all vendors I recommend as well.  I am a true believer in body positivity, that love is love, Black lives matter, and no human being is illegal.  Every single story deserves to be told, and I would be honored to be the one to help you tell it.

I WAS CREATED TO CREATE.

Even when I was little, I was always the one taking the photos. Stealing my dad’s video camera to make sure everyone was included. I’m not interested in stiff wedding photos or moments that feel overly performed. I want your images to feel alive. Messy in the best way. Honest. Romantic. A little cinematic. Photos that breathe and move and hit you right in the chest years later.

I want to photograph the real stuff:
the tears your mom tried not to cry,
your friends losing their minds on the dance floor, the way your partner looks at you when nobody else notices.
