If I had to describe this Fairlane Station wedding in three words, they'd be: fun, effortless, and unapologetically them.
From the very beginning, this day felt less like a perfectly choreographed production and more like one big celebration with their favorite people. There wasn't any pressure to do things a certain way—just a whole lot of laughter, happy tears, tequila (ha) and dancing. They also skipped the traditional wedding party altogether. Instead, the bride spent her morning getting ready with her sisters, who wore the prettiest sun-colored dresses that fit perfectly with the warm fall color palette. After their first look, Samar + Wynn celebrated with a shot of tequila after seeing each other. It was equal parts hilarious and heartfelt, instantly breaking any nerves and setting the tone for the rest of the day. They laughed, hugged, toasted, and then headed into the day ready to soak up every second together.
One of the things I love most about this venue is how cozy it feels. Even with a full room of guests, everyone feels connected. It has this intimate atmosphere that makes the day feel warm and welcoming from start to finish. The fall details were absolutely gorgeous and unique. Rich seasonal florals filled the space with warm color, disco balls caught the light in all the right ways, and every little detail reflected their personalities! They included illustrations of their dogs on the bar signage and cut outs of their heads, which had guests smiling all night long. It was such a fun way to include two very important family members who couldn’t be there all day.
As the evening rolled around, the formal shoes disappeared and sneakers made their entrance. They spent the rest of the night exactly how every couple hopes to remember their wedding—surrounded by friends, packed onto the dance floor, singing every word, and making the kind of memories that don't need to be on a shot list to happen.
